Could, during the Main event activity, write two sentences containing the present tense and two sentences containing the near future; could use the Knowledge organiser: Planning a French holiday to recall how to form the verb aller in the present tense and the near future.

Pupils working at greater depth:

Should construct sentences using both present and near future tense, using et and mais; could write down the rules of the near future tense in a learning poster to present to the class.
