Ronnie is a Teacher, PSHE subject lead, SMSC lead, Pupil voice at Newham Council.
Having graduated with a BA in Primary Education with QTS, Ronnie had a ten-year career as a primary teacher. With a specialism in Early Years, Ronnie has worked in inner city schools in Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Newham as a Reception and Nursery teacher, also previously being Nursery lead. In addition to EYFS, Ronnie is curriculum lead of PSHE, SMSC and pupil voice, responsible for designing and implementing curriculum plans and training staff within these areas. Ronnie has a particular interest in the development of subject knowledge and expertise, being an active member of Newham PSHE forum, a PGCE mentor at the University of Greenwich, Newham student teacher mentor, EYFS STEM specialist, and a KS2 specialist marker for Pearsons.
