Richard Williams

Richard is a Year 6 Teacher at St. Pancras Primary School in Ipswich and previously held the position of Barrister. Richard’s passion for teaching was recognised when he received Suffolk’s ‘Raising The Bar’ award for Innovation 2016; an accolade reflected in projects created with his class. Together they made the world’s first guided VR:360 school tour and also a 3D-printed asthma inhaler that Tim Peake tweeted about whilst he was aboard the ISS which led to a meeting back on Earth.

Richard spends his free time and the school holidays walking with his family and visiting the zoo. His love of robotics saw him coach a rookie robotics team to win the UK finals of RoboCup where they then went onto the world finals in Brazil.
