Joanne Dodd is a Primary School Teacher at Aspire Education Trust and an experienced primary school teacher with over a decade of leadership in science education. She has led science within her school for more than 10 years and has served as a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) across her multi-academy trust for eight years. Through this role, Joanne has supported schools in strengthening their science provision and improving teaching and learning outcomes.
Beyond her school and trust, Joanne has played a key role in leading primary science across Cheshire and Wirral as part of the Science Learning Partnership. She has worked closely with schools to develop effective science curricula and has delivered bespoke professional development to teachers. Joanne’s expertise lies in primary science education, curriculum design, and teacher development, with a strong commitment to raising the quality of science teaching.
