Resource Bank: Mixed-age long-term plans

To support your planning for mixed-age classes in KS1 and KS2 for foundation subjects. These long-term plans ensure progression of skills, development of knowledge and appropriate challenge for all the children in the class.

The resource bank contains detailed, long-term plans for primary schools teaching in mixed-age classes over a two-year cycle.

The downloadable plans are based on the Kapow Primary schemes of work, so you can be sure that they provide full national curriculum coverage and more.  The mixed-age long-term plan link to units within the scheme.  As part of our mixed-age provision, we have revisited the differentiation suggestions in some lessons and will also be publishing some brand new lessons specifically for mixed-age classes in some RSE/PSHE units.

Mixed-aged plans for our other subjects will be published during the 2021 autumn term.
