This vocabulary display includes key words from the unit RSE & PSHE, EYFS, Self-Regulation: My feelings and additional unit-specific words that may be helpful to introduce, revisit and use with children throughout their learning.

Key vocabulary is clearly labelled on the display, highlighting important words for children to hear, understand and begin to use. Regularly modelling and revisiting these words through play, stories, conversations and practical experiences can help children develop their communication and language and deepen their understanding of the unit.

Consider adding sound buttons to words that are decodable using the phonics children have already been taught. Encourage children to say each sound and blend the sounds together, helping them apply their developing phonic knowledge when exploring the vocabulary display.
