This Religion and worldviews resource is designed to support the pupils as they explore how religious figures and leaders are believed to have a special connection to a god. It introduces key vocabulary such as avatar, chosen, deity, Guru and prophet, helping the pupils understand how different traditions recognise and honour spiritual figures. The pupils will also learn about key individuals from various religions and how their teachings and actions continue to inspire believers today.
