How do Kapow Primary resources demonstrate diversity?

Our resources include diverse images, names and scenarios reflecting different backgrounds, genders, disabilities and challenging stereotypes.

Here are some subject-specific examples:

  • Religion and worldviews presents diversity between and within a range of worldviews by including personal responses, images and other information reflecting a broad range of people, contexts and perspectives.
  • History lessons teach pupils about a diverse range of historical persons and stories, including those from underrepresented and marginalised groups.
  • In Art and design, children learn about art and ethnically diverse artists across cultures and throughout history.
  • The Music curriculum includes a variety of musical genres from every continent and composers and musicians from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
