Book voucher prizes
1. The voucher code is offered in collaboration with Usborne https://usborne.com/gb/
2. The prize draw winner will be sent a unique voucher code via email from Kapow Primary.
3. Vouchers can only be redeemed through an Independent Usborne Partner. If you are already working with an Independent Usborne Partner, you can redeem your voucher with them by providing them with the unique voucher code you’ve been given. If you are not connected with an Independent Usborne Partner, email [email protected] using the subject line: ‘Kapow Voucher Redemption’, and include your school’s name, a contact name and contact email and telephone number. Your local Independent Usborne Partner will then contact you to help redeem the voucher.
4. Voucher expiry date will be stated in your issue email. Please refer to this for details.
5. Only one voucher per school can be redeemed within any 12-month period.
6. Vouchers are single-use only.
7. Vouchers can be used to part-pay for your Usborne order.
8. Any money not spent in a single transaction from the voucher will be lost, i.e. if you spend £89 of the voucher, you will lose the remaining £11.
9. Vouchers are only redeemable by schools in the United Kingdom.
General
1. Eligibility: Competitions, giveaways, and prize draws are open to primary school teachers in the United Kingdom aged 18 and above unless otherwise specified. Employees of the promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to participate.
2. Entry Requirements: Participants must adhere to the specified entry requirements outlined for each competition, including any necessary actions such as liking, sharing, or commenting on social media posts. Entry methods will be clearly communicated in the promotional material.
3. Entry Deadline: All entries must be submitted before the stated deadline to be considered valid. The closing date will be prominently displayed in the initial promotional material.
4. Prize Details: The nature and number of prizes or gifts available will be clearly stated in the promotional material. Any restrictions or limitations on the prizes, such as expiry dates or geographical restrictions, will also be communicated upfront.
5. Winner Selection: Winners will be selected randomly or based on specific criteria outlined in the competition details. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Notification: Winners will be notified via email or direct message within a specified timeframe after the competition closes. Failure to respond within the designated period may result in forfeiture of the prize.
7. Prize Claim: To claim the prize, winners must follow the instructions provided in the notification message, which may include providing personal information for prize fulfilment. Prizes must be claimed within the timeframe specified in the promotional material.
8. Prize Substitution: Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or alternative rewards unless explicitly stated. In the event that a prize becomes unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.
9. Publicity: By participating, entrants consent to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation. This may include announcing winners on social media channels and the promoter’s website.
10. Data Protection: Personal information collected during the entry process will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent. Entrants have the right to request access to and correction of their personal data.
11. Release of Liability: The promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize. Participants agree to indemnify the promoter against any claims arising from their entry or participation.
12. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with such laws. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Modification or Termination: The promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice. In the event of such action, participants will be notified promptly.
14. Agreement to Terms: By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions in their entirety. Failure to comply with any of the terms may result in disqualification.
