A Knowledge organiser that captures the essential knowledge and skills learnt throughout the unit Music, Year 1, Dynamics.
This Music resource is designed to support the pupils as they explore how music can represent the seaside environment. It introduces key vocabulary such as rhythm, tempo, pitch, dynamics, and soundscape, helping the pupils understand how musical elements can create imagery and atmosphere. The pupils will also learn how to recognise different sounds associated with the seaside and create their own seaside-inspired compositions.

Religion and worldviews: Transitioning to Kapow Primary
Planning for each year group to support staff and pupils to smoothly transition to our Religion and worldviews, RE scheme of work. All year groups have catch-up units to build a solid foundation of essential knowledge and skills before proceeding to our intended units and lessons for the year group.
Each of the catch-up units consists of selected lessons taken from a range of units in the previous year groups. This will support both staff and pupils in feeling confident and comfortable when approaching more advanced lessons.

This resource is designed to support pupils as they begin to explore how different religions express their beliefs about God. It introduces key vocabulary including “belief,” “deity,” “Brahman,” and “Allah,” alongside visual representations of Christian, Muslim, and Hindu worldviews. Through images of Jesus, Islamic art, and Hindu deities, pupils gain a visual and conceptual understanding of how ideas of God are expressed in different faiths. This organiser promotes respect for diversity and helps lay the foundation for future learning in religious education.
