Understanding different ways to pay

This Kapow pupil video is part of the RSE & PSHE scheme of work. It introduces children to different payment methods, including cash, debit and credit cards, digital wallets, and online banking. Pupils learn the pros and cons of each method, such as how cash helps manage spending but can’t be used online, and how debit cards use your own money while credit cards let you pay later with interest. The video also explains how digital wallets work through phones with safety features like fingerprint access, and how online banking allows you to manage money using devices connected to the internet.

The video is designed to be shown to pupils as part of RSE & PSHE, key stage 2, Year 3, Y3 Economic wellbeing, Lesson 1: How do people pay for things?
