HTML rap video
This Computing scheme of work video introduces pupils to HTML—Hyper Text Markup Language. It’s designed to help pupil understand the basics of how websites are built and the important role HTML plays behind the scenes.
Through rhythm and rhyme, pupils are introduced to key HTML tags. The song explores how each tag has a job, helping to structure and present text, images and other elements on a webpage.
The chorus reinforces the core message: HTML is a coding language used to build and style websites, from simple pages to complex online experiences. Pupils will learn about structure, style and tags, and will gain a solid introduction to web development.
This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Year 4 Skills Showcase: HTML unit resources. It makes learning about HTML engaging and memorable, supporting pupils in developing digital literacy through music and creativity.
