Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support
Could have the fruits labelled in a home language as well as English to assist with spelling; could use the Resource: Dictionary sample instead of a dictionary to limit the number of items to scan.
Pupils working at greater depth
Should suggest strategies for identifying the gender of a new noun in Spanish; could use the dictionary to research and write new nouns of their own choice, including the correct article according to gender.
