Travelling the world in French

This French video introduces teachers to a holiday-themed topic where children recap country names and practise the verb aller to form the near future tense. Pupils learn to say where they will go and give reasons for visiting their chosen destinations, supported by music and repetition to aid memory.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s French scheme – the world. It models how to link grammar, vocabulary, and listening comprehension. It includes activities for recognising present and future tense forms, enabling pupils to build varied, purposeful sentences about travel and holidays.
