Programming button B on the micro:bit

This Design and technology scheme of work video shows the children how to program button B on the virtual micro:bit to display a flashing LED pattern. It builds on previous steps by guiding the children through similar coding blocks used for button A, encouraging them to spot familiar features. The video demonstrates how to customise the LED shape, helping the children consider how recognisable patterns, such as emojis or characters, could make a product more appealing to users.

The video illustrates each coding step clearly so the children feel confident and well prepared to complete and test their button B program in the lesson and unit below.
