A rap about online safety

This Computing scheme of work video helps Year 4 pupils explore key online safety messages through a fun and engaging song. The song teaches the children how to stay smart and safe when using the internet.

The children learn how to check the accuracy of search results, spot advertisements and recognise scams. The song also explores how to handle online influences, understand the difference between facts and opinions and choose trustworthy websites. Kindness, screen time and thinking before sharing are highlighted, reminding the children to look after their well-being and treat others with respect. The message is clear: speak to a trusted adult if something feels wrong.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Online safety: Year 4 unit. It gives Year 4 pupils the tools to make good online choices, encouraging safe, responsible and thoughtful digital behaviour in a fun and memorable way.
