A rap about online safety

This Computing scheme of work video helps Year 2 pupils learn the basics of online safety through a fun and energetic rap. With a strong beat and memorable lyrics, the video encourages the children to stay safe, think clearly and act responsibly when using the internet.

The rap covers key safety messages, including creating strong passwords, protecting personal information, asking for permission before sharing and speaking to a trusted adult if something feels wrong. The children also learn how to spot unhelpful pop-ups, avoid unreliable websites and use common sense when online.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Online safety: Year 2 unit. It helps build strong foundations for safe and respectful digital behaviour, with music that makes learning stick.
