Ideas for wobbling motorised products

In this Design and technology video, the pupils see a range of ideas for products that can be made with an electrical circuit with a motor that wobbles due to an off-centre weight placed on the axle.

The video shows a range of products that could be made using the wobble bot idea of an off-centre weight on a motor. The products are made with a range of clean packaging materials and are designed to move in different ways depending on what is used for the body and legs. The ideas for wobble bots are also decorated to look like interesting characters. The video is intended to inspire pupils when designing their own wobble bots.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Design and technology videos, which enable teachers and pupils to explore and make their own products.
