This Design and technology scheme of work video shows the children how to improve their packaging design by adding text and images to the net of their packaging in Sketchpad. It demonstrates how to use text, shapes and clipart to create a point-of-sale stand and shows how the template can be edited to personalise the design. The children are encouraged to include key information such as the product name or price, use persuasive words to encourage sales and create bright, eye-catching designs.

The video illustrates each digital design step clearly so the children feel confident and well prepared to enhance their packaging in the lesson and unit below.
