Display the Presentation: Tile translations. Hand out the Knowledge organiser (one between two). Ask the children to work in pairs to translate each sentence, starting from the bottom row and working upwards. They can use the Knowledge organiser for support.

Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support:
- Should focus on adding details to either the verb comer – to eat or dibujar – draw in the Main event, which can both be combined with a wide array of nouns.
- Could discuss and share nouns in English first and select just one or two to research in the dictionary and record on the group sheet.
Pupils working at greater depth:
- Should focus on adding detail to the verbs tocar – to play, ver – to watch and jugar – to play, during the Main event.
- Could extend their phrases expressing likes and dislikes using pero during the Wrapping up.
