Before starting this unit, check that the children can recall:
Any festivals that take place in Spain and activities linked to them.
How to use a bilingual dictionary (see Teacher skills video).
Display slide 1 of the Presentation: Fiestas recall. Invite the children to share anything they recognise or remember about the festivals shown. Take brief feedback, then read the information together.
