• Recognise and repeat number words in sequence.
• Correctly form the plural of a noun where required.
• Build a simple phrase using word cards to match a picture representation.
• Deduce some elements of language from context.
• Follow a script and rehearse dialogue with a partner.
• Use additional elements to enhance communication, such as tone and facial expression.
