It introduces key nouns such as la bouche (mouth), les jambes (legs), le bec (beak), and les cornes (horns), alongside useful sentence structures like Il a une longue queue bleue (He has a long blue tail) and Elle a trois longues cornes rouges (She has three long red horns). Pupils also learn to apply adjective agreement rules for gender and number and position size adjectives correctly before nouns. Pupils also practise numbers from dix to cent, learn how prices are expressed in Euros, and explore phrases for expressing food preferences and describing meals. This unit supports meaningful communication in real-world scenarios and reinforces vocabulary and sentence structures needed for shopping in a French-speaking context.
