Exploring christianity and worldviews

This Religion and worldviews video introduces teachers to the key ideas behind the unit “What is religion and how can worldviews be expressed?” equipping them with the knowledge to guide children in exploring diversity within Christianity. It covers how to introduce key concepts such as denomination, interpretation and the Trinity, while helping children investigate how and why Christians may express shared beliefs in different ways. The video explains how children interpret stories, scripture and first-hand accounts to recognise the richness and variety of Christian traditions, and supports teachers in addressing misconceptions such as the idea that all Christians worship in the same way.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Religion and Worldviews resources – christians. It simplifies complex concepts, ensuring teachers feel confident and prepared to help children explore belief, identity and lived experience through the lens of Christianity in the lesson and unit below.
