Making moral decisions through worldviews

This Religion and worldviews video introduces teachers to the key ideas behind the unit “How do world views affect our daily lives?” equipping them with the knowledge to guide children in exploring moral decisions through a range of religious and non-religious perspectives. It covers how teachings from worldviews such as Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Humanism, Islam and Judaism provide guidance about right and wrong, and how children can reflect on their own values through inquiry and discussion. The video also explains the importance of addressing misconceptions, using real-life examples, and supporting children in understanding how different people interpret teachings in diverse ways.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Religion and worldviews – teacher worldview videos. It simplifies complex concepts, ensuring teachers feel confident and prepared to help children explore ethics, guidance and wisdom through the lens of multiple worldviews in the lesson and unit below
