Final design and presentation

This archived Art and design scheme of work video guides teachers in supporting Key stage 2 pupils to develop and present final designs in response to a set brief. It explores how to build on previous lesson work, using rough drawings and initial ideas to refine and create a purposeful final outcome that can be shared with peers. The video demonstrates each step, from selecting favourite design elements and cutting shapes from coloured paper to arranging, adapting, and reviewing choices until a cohesive design emerges.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s original KS2 Art and design resources. It breaks the process down clearly, ensuring teachers feel confident in leading pupils through developing ideas, making modifications, and presenting their creative thinking with rationale in lessons.
