Trabalengua - soft c and o sounds

This Spanish scheme of work video introduces pupils to a fun trabalenguas (tongue twister) that helps build confidence with speaking aloud and pronouncing Spanish sounds. Pupils will practise saying: como, poco, coco, compro, poco, coco, como.

The tongue twister is first spoken slowly to help pupils focus on accuracy and pronunciation. Then, the speed increases gradually, encouraging pupils to stay focused while having fun. This repetition supports pronunciation of the soft c and o sounds and builds fluency in a playful, engaging way.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Spanish Mouth Mechanics video collection, which helps pupils develop their speaking and listening skills through games, songs, and interactive speaking tasks.
