The story of the seeds
This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow Religion and worldviews scheme of work. It tells the story of a farmer who plants seeds in different types of ground. Some seeds don’t grow because they are eaten by birds, dry out in the sun, or get crowded by weeds. But the seeds that land in good soil grow into strong, healthy plants that produce lots of fruit. The story helps us think about how people grow and learn in different ways, depending on their choices and surroundings. It shows that, just like seeds, people need the right conditions to grow and flourish.
The video is designed to be shown to pupils as part of Religion and worldviews, Reception, Reception Units, Why are some stories special? Lesson 3: what makes a story special?
