A rap about online safety
This Computing scheme of work video helps Year 3 pupils explore online safety through a rap containing key digital messages. It encourages children to think critically, stay safe and protect their well-being while using the internet.
The rap covers important topics like understanding facts and opinions, protecting personal information, recognising fake news, and using reliable sources. Pupils are also reminded to be aware of privacy settings, age restrictions, and how to block or report anything that makes them feel uncomfortable.
The video builds awareness of how digital choices affect safety, security and emotional well-being—making complex ideas accessible and memorable.
This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Online safety: Year 3 unit. It gives Year 3 pupils the confidence to navigate the online world with care, helping them build safe and respectful digital habits for life.
