Dribble with confidence

This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow PE scheme of work. It is designed for pupils and explores different ways of dribbling a football. The video begins with using the inside of the foot, angling it outwards to tap the ball with control. Pupils then learn to dribble with the outside of the foot, angling it inwards and making contact with the outer edge. To stop the ball, two methods are shown: the step trap, where a foot is placed on top of the ball, and the inside trap, using the inside of the foot to block its movement. Pupils are reminded to take light touches, keep the ball close, and maintain control while moving.

The video is designed to be shown to pupils as part of Physical education, key stage 2, KS2, Football, Lesson 1: Ball skills
