Cutting and juicing skills
This Design and technology scheme of work video demonstrates basic cutting skills for Year 1 children. It explains how to guide children in using a serated butter knife safely and effectively, covering key safety practices and grip techniques such as the bridge and claw grips for different fruit and vegetables.
