Exploring Position and Direction: Action Song

In this Geography video, pupils practise describing positions using words such as left, right, on top, behind, near, far and in front through a fun, active song. They wave, point, jump and look around to explore how to describe where things and people are in space.

Set to the tune of The animals went in two by two, this catchy directional language song helps the children learn and remember key vocabulary while moving and engaging with the classroom environment.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Geography song videossupporting young learners in exploring geographical concepts in a musical and engaging way.
