Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support
Could label their bar chart using slide 13 of the Presentation: Investigation: How does wind force affect seed dispersal?; should use the Knowledge organiser: Science – Plant reproduction to help them explain what plants need for survival in their conclusion.
Pupils working at greater depth
Could add the model bar data to their bar chart in order to make a direct comparison (the bars can be drawn over their data so that each bar looks like it has been divided into two sections); should include in their conclusion details of any results that did not fit the pattern and explain why they may have happened as part of a reflection on the trustworthiness of the results; could choose an extension activity from the Resource: Stretch and challenge: How does wind force affect seed dispersal?.
