Could have some cards already added to the Venn diagram when they start; could use overlapping hula hoops to sort the cards into rather than cutting and sticking cards to the paper.

Pupils working at greater depth

Should use the Activity: Statements to sort instead of the images in the Main event; should add their ideas about religious or Humanist baby naming ceremonies to the Venn diagram; should make connections with the statements and their learning about baby welcoming ceremonies throughout the unit.
