Adaptive teaching

Pupils needing extra support:

  • Could use cards from the Activity: Different ways to pray to match ideas to images instead of writing independently.
  • Could pre-watch the Pupil video: Praying to describe what they can see using the Activity: Different ways to pray. 

Pupils working at greater depth:

  • Should explain why prayer might look different for different people by referring to examples from the images.
  • Should give reasons why people might pray in different ways by linking to beliefs or situations.
  • Should compare examples of prayer by identifying similarities and differences using appropriate vocabulary.
