Could work from the Resource: Interlocking patterns: Voices 1 and 2; could write the letter names above the notes if necessary; could be allocated tuned percussion part 2, which is easier to sing/play.
Pupils working at greater depth
Could play tuned percussion part 1, as this part requires the children to know when to stop playing; could be given the sheet music for their instrument if they have extra-curricular music lessons (see Teacher knowledge).
