Adaptive teaching
Pupils needing extra support
Could work from the Resource: Interlocking patterns: Voices 1 and 2, as the lyrics will help them to keep track of where they are; could also write the letter names over the top of the notes if necessary.
Pupils working at greater depth
Could work with a partner to create an independent performance of the two parts; could be given the Resource: Interlocking patterns: Piano/chords, the Resource: Interlocking patterns: Lead concert or the Resource: Interlocking patterns lead part: B flat pitch for their instrument if they have extra-curricular music lessons (see Teacher knowledge).
