Lesson plan

1. Recap and recall

Explain that the children will describe how to thread a needle and make stitches. Play the Pupil video: Making stitches with no sound. Arrange the children in pairs and explain that they will take turns speaking like an expert to describe what is happening. Tell the children to watch the video closely and use key vocabulary from the word wall display (Resource: Unit vocabulary).
