Inclusion is a key evaluation area in the Ofsted 2025 framework, judged across five levels: Exemplary, Strong Standard, Expected Standard, Needs Attention, and Urgent Improvement. It is assessed both as a standalone area and as a thread running through all other areas of inspection.

It also outlines the types of evidence schools might provide and shows how Kapow Primary supports inclusive practice through its curriculum design, staff training materials, and support for teaching across all foundation subjects.

Inclusion is about ensuring that every pupil – regardless of background, ability, or need – can access, engage with, and succeed in all aspects of school life. This includes the curriculum, teaching, wellbeing, leadership, safeguarding, and personal development.
