year: Year 2
Knowledge organiser: RSE & PSHE – Y2 Economic wellbeing
A Knowledge Organiser that captures the essential knowledge and skills learnt throughout the unit RSE & PSHE, Year 2, Economic Wellbeing.
This resource supports pupils as they deepen their understanding of financial literacy and decision-making. It introduces key vocabulary and concepts such as earn, save, spend, need, want, priority, and bank, helping pupils distinguish between essential needs and discretionary wants. The organiser also explores various ways adults receive money—through work, benefits, or gifts—and how personal interests can influence career choices. By examining different professions and the concept of saving for future goals, pupils are encouraged to consider how money impacts daily life and long-term planning. This organiser reinforces key concepts, laying the groundwork for responsible financial habits and informed choices.

Vocabulary for Computing
Lists the key vocabulary covered in each year group and unit when following our Computing curriculum.
Key vocabulary consists of words the learners are expected to retain and reuse in future units. Understanding these terms enhances comprehension and supports learners in developing digital literacy and computational thinking. Consider displaying relevant keywords from previous years to reinforce prior learning and build connections across units.
Each unit also has a Unit vocabulary display featuring relevant keywords and additional unit-specific words that may be helpful as part of a display.
