Topic What we do Notes
PDFs Our PDFs are e-reader enabled. PDFs cannot be edited.
Presentation mode Supports screen readers; background colours can be changed to improve contrast. Presentations cannot be edited or downloaded.
Images & alt text Informative images include descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked appropriately. Older images may not have alt-text.
Video & audio Captions provided where available. Teacher videos do not currently have captions.
Colour & contrast We’re working to achieve WCAG AA/AAA contrast and less colour reliance in print. Older content and links to external content may not meet contrast targets.
Text resizing & zoom Layout supports browser zoom and text resizing without loss of content or functionality. High zoom may require horizontal scrolling on complex tables.
Forms & labels Inputs include programmatically associated labels, helpful hints, and clear error messaging. Browser autofill behaviour varies by device and settings.
Links & readability Links are descriptive (avoid “click here”); content uses clear, plain language. Some legacy articles may still reference older phrasing. Older links may not be descriptive.
