Understanding differences within worldviews

This Religion and worldviews video introduces teachers to the unit “How can we live together in harmony when we have different worldviews?” and supports children in exploring how beliefs can be expressed in different ways, even within the same religion. It equips teachers to guide pupils in investigating Jewish and Muslim sources, examining how culture, tradition, migration and interpretation influence religious practices. The video highlights how to encourage respectful dialogue and critical thinking, helping children understand that while people may share key beliefs, their expressions of faith can vary widely.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Religion and worldviews resources – around the world. It simplifies complex concepts, ensuring teachers feel confident and prepared to help children explore belief, identity and diversity in the lesson and unit below.
