Gratitude in daily worldviews

This Religion and worldviews video introduces teachers to the unit “How do worldviews affect our daily lives?” and supports children in exploring the themes of gratitude, worship and symbolism. It equips teachers to guide pupils through beliefs and practices from Christian, Hindu and humanist worldviews, helping them consider how people express thankfulness in different ways. The video explains how to make links between harvest festivals, puja, and humanist values, while supporting respectful discussion and personal reflection. It also highlights the importance of recognising diversity within worldviews and being sensitive to pupils’ own experiences, especially around topics such as food and charity.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Religion and worldviews resources – thanks. It simplifies complex concepts, ensuring teachers feel confident and prepared to help children explore belief, expression and gratitude in the lesson and unit below.
