Using RotoCodo to develop coding skills

This video introduces RotoCodo, a web based coding platform where children solve puzzles by directing a cat to its goal. They create algorithms by dragging and dropping arrow commands into a sequence.

The video explains how to access the Hour of Code resources, select the junior level and begin a puzzle. Learners can watch a tutorial before building and testing their algorithm using the play button. They can reset the puzzle, remove incorrect commands and improve their code until it works.

The video encourages learners to think carefully about efficiency and aim for the most effective solution by creating the shortest and most accurate algorithm.
