Using Kodable to practise algorithms

This video introduces Kodable, a web based platform used to teach coding skills through interactive puzzles. Children solve mazes by dragging and dropping arrows to create an algorithm that guides a character to its goal.

The video explains how to access the Hour of Code resources and begin playing without saving. In each puzzle, children build, test and improve their algorithms. They are encouraged to run their code regularly, spot bugs and make changes until the solution works. The focus throughout is on careful thinking, debugging and developing confidence in programming.
