Using AI to generate code

This Computing scheme of work video introduces teachers to how artificial intelligence can support code generation and assist in planning digital projects. It highlights how AI can offer structure, inspiration and guidance, particularly when teaching HTML or block-based coding like Scratch.

The video demonstrates how AI can generate a basic HTML structure and provide simple explanations to support teachers and pupils in understanding code. It also shows how refining prompts can improve the quality and relevance of responses. The video explores how AI can support Scratch coding by suggesting ideas, instructions and blocks of code. It encourages teachers to see AI as a helpful tool while reinforcing the importance of creativity and problem-solving.
