Stories about Jesus’ power
This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow Religion and worldviews scheme of work. It shares some of the stories many Christians believe about Jesus. These stories show his kindness, his ability to do miracles, and how he helped people change their lives for the better.
When a huge crowd gathered to hear Jesus speak, a boy shared five loaves and two fish. Jesus gave thanks and, miraculously, there was enough food for everyone — with twelve baskets left over. In another story, when a storm frightened the disciples at sea, Jesus calmed the wind and waves, showing his power over nature. And in Jericho, Jesus saw Zacchaeus, a man who had done wrong, and chose to visit his house. Zacchaeus promised to give to the poor and repay those he had cheated. Jesus forgave him, and Zacchaeus changed his ways. These stories help Christians learn about Jesus’ compassion, power, and the importance of forgiveness and kindness.
