How plants reproduce and grow

This Kapow pupil video is part of the Kapow Science scheme of work. It is designed for pupils and explores the four key aspects of plant reproduction: flower structure, pollination, fertilisation, and seed dispersal. It introduces the male and female parts of a flower, including stamens and pistils, and explains how pollination transfers pollen from anthers to stigma, often with the help of wind, insects, or animals. The video shows how fertilisation occurs when pollen reaches the ovary, forming seeds that disperse and grow into new plants, continuing the life cycle.
