Using sounds in scratch

In this Kapow Computing video, pupils are guided through a lesson that helps them add and use sounds in a Scratch project.

The video demonstrates how the children can access the ‘Sounds’ tab and select from different options, including the Scratch library, recording their own, uploading a file, or choosing a surprise sound. It shows how to browse sound categories, add sounds to a project and return to the coding area to use the pink sound blocks. The children learn to drag, test and integrate sounds into their code, exploring how audio can enhance animations or games.

This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Computing videos, supporting the children to develop their multimedia and coding skills.
