A rap about online safety
This Computing scheme of work video introduces online safety through a fun and engaging song designed especially for Key stage 1. It helps Year 1 pupils understand how to stay safe when using tablets, phones or computers.
The song teaches key messages in a memorable and age-appropriate way, reminding the children to think before they click, double-check before sharing and speak to a trusted adult if something feels wrong. The children also learn how to keep personal information private, avoid contact with strangers and take regular breaks from screens.
This video is part of Kapow Primary’s Year 1 Online safety unit. It provides a friendly and accessible way for the children to understand and remember how to stay safe and make good choices online.
